irca approved course.pngThis IRCA approved transition course to the ISO 9001:2015 standard comprises two one day modules. Module 1 (Annex SL) describes the common management system format that ISO 9001:2015 has adopted and is to be adopted by all ISO standards going. It will enable you to appreciate the reasons behind this very significant structural change and its implications. The Annex SL module will also give students partial credit should they wish to complete transition courses to ISO 14001:2015 and/or ISO 45001. The second module describes the key changes to the ISO 9001 standard as a result of the change from the 2008 to the 2015 standard. An IRCA approved certificate will be issued on successful completion of each module.

Module 1: Annex SL A18047 (1 day)audit-iso.jpg

About this course

The adoption of the Annex SL format for ISO management system standards recognises that a common format offers advantages to the user community, and there has been, for some time, a growing demand that, so far as is possible, the ISO management system standards have similar structures.

This course has been developed to meet the criteria for the Annex SL auditor transition module recognised by the International Register of Certificated Auditors (IRCA).

What you will learn

You will learn the reasons why the common Annex SL format has been adopted by ISO and the anticipated benefits for user organisations in terms of user friendliness and also its structure, common language and requirements.

Content

  • Context of the organisation, the application of scope and the importance that an auditor understands the operating environment and sector practices relative to the auditee’s management system

  • How the documentation requirements have been affected.
